Sanjay M Gohil


Sanjay started his career in the financial services industry in 1988 and now manages a group of companies under the Gohil & Gunby umbrella. He is married and has three children. He is closely involved in the local community, being an active supporter of charities and has also been involved in the Lions International. He is a keen musician and enjoys singing Hindi film songs, ghazals and bhajans and has completed his MBA at the University of Leicester. His dissertation proposal was on "Remuneration and Consumer Value". He also achieved Fellowship of the Institute of Business Consulting, part of the Chartered Management Institute.

Sanjay has been President of his University Asian Society, Secretary of his local community Shree Vanza Society of Leicester, Secretary of Nottingham China Town Lions Club, Secretary, Treasurer and President of Nottingham West Lions Club and also undertook the position of Zone Chairman of District 105E for a period. He has also been a member of the longest serving lions Club in the district, Leicester Host Lions Club and has also been a School Governor of Ellesmere College, a special needs school.

Sanjay and his staff provide a full range of advice and services in the field of financial planning, mortgages and taxation. He is personally committed in helping people take control of their financial affairs. He contributes articles to his business newsletter, which his clients receive. Sanjay is a member of the Institute of Financial Planning and is qualified by the examination as DIP (PFS), Cert (PFS), CERTCII(MP) which are certified in financial planning by the Chartered Insurance Institute.

The Chartered Insurance Institute (Nov 2012) has issued a Statement of Professional Standing to Sanjay as an advisor. He also has successfully qualified in the field of Economics, Banking and Business Management at Leeds Metropolitan University, Warwick University and Bangor University, respectively.
